I’m a freelance food stylist and recipe developer based in the north east of England, close to both Newcastle and Edinburgh.
I began food styling in 2011, training in London, before moving to Northumberland in 2020. I’ve worked across all sides of the industry, including television commercials, advertising, social media campaigns, packaging, cookbooks and live television. My work has appeared on billboards, bus stops, metro lines, point of sale, delivery vans, online, books and magazines.
Alongside food styling, I develop and write original recipes for editorial, commercial and book projects and my work includes recipe testing for leading household names and bestselling cookbooks.
Before moving into food styling, I trained as a private chef, cooking for clients across the Austrian and Swiss Alps, Gascony, Provence and throughout the UK for almost a decade. That background gave me a strong technical foundation and an instinctive understanding of food - skills that continue to underpin my work today.
